hello

here is my problem

i have a download manager (window) that contains array list

i want another window to be allowed to add in it's array list ( so i made it friend and passed it's pointer as argument) and this worked

know ...... i want to call a function when ever a row is add in the arraylist and this function takes some time and calls a function that changes the GUI

another Question ....... i want to know the restrictions on using threads in updating GUI
