Hello,

I agree the parsing should be done on separate thread. However, currently we do not have enough man power to implement this functionality. If you have time, you can dig into IDE code and try to implement it. It shouldn't be so hard. However, we need to make sure that we will not break anything.

I thing the progress of parsing should be reported to the status bar. Moreover, status bar should be enabled by default.
