umk.exe flagged as malware by avira antivir personal 10.

umk- a uppsrc utility to build U++ projects from the commandline is being flagged as malware or unwanted program by avira antivir personal 10.

i'm enclosing a screenshot.

avira try evristic detect viruses. But umk have system call. So that it can be a false alarm

avira antivir products uses hueristic analysis to detect malware, which antivirus product does'nt.

this is a false alarm, thats for sure.

i think the developers of UPP should take up this matter with the antivirus companies and clear up the issue.

a very nice product like UPP should not have any bottlenecks whatsoever. it may deter some windows platform developers from using such a wonderful product.

I think avira has not very clever heuristic, it has false positives (different) for regular theide as well. It was already reported to the company making the software: http://www.ultimatepp.org/forum/index.php?t=msg&goto=323 41&&srch=avira#msg_32341
