I installed Ultimate++ (with MinGW) on my XP system and it worked nicely--I built and ran several programs.
But then I installed Ultimate++ (upp-mingw-2007.1) on my Vista system and it wouldn't build anything, or even preprocess:
"c++.exe: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1plus': No such file or directory"
From what the previous user said, I figured out how to work around it by fixing settings on the Setup..Build_methods window, but there really is a bug in the automatic setup for Vista. It fails to recognize Vista as OSType=Win32 and apparently fails to add mingw\libexecgcc\mingw32\3.4.2 to the PATH list of executable directories, and (not surprisingly) when I try "Automatic Setup" it erases the fixes I make manually.

Can somebody check please?
