From today, I started regular svn updates.
Updates should occour daily, with following exceptions :
1- No commits on Uvs2 repository
2- Error on Linux build on actual revision
3- No time !
On current commit I did some minor svn repository cleanup, so it should mirror exactly the Uvs2 one.
From now, I'll do just commits on it.
For whom have svn write access, please do commits from a clean source tree, so the repository will not get clobbered with working files.
The mantained subtrees will be :
uppsrc (the main source tree)
examples (the examples upp subfolder)
reference (the reference upp subfolder)
tutorial (the tutorial upp subfolder)
For users, here the instructions; I'll assume you're familiar enough with building from source... but it's not hard at all.
I suggest you to keep a stable release along the devel one, as explained here : http://www.ultimatepp.org/forum/index.php?t=msg&&th= 2884&goto=12670#msg_12670
To get the source tree, just open a terminal window, enter on a directory of your choice (I did it on ~/sources/) and enter this command :
svn co https://upp.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/upp uppdev
You'll end up with 'uppdev' source folder containing all relevant upp development sources, references and tutorials.
Then follow link above to compile it using stable upp (sorry, no makefiles yet).
Windows users can use TortoiseSVN or similar.
Ciao
Max
