WinXP seems to have quirky behaviour when you try to access the root directory of missing removable disk (e.g. CD card reader) - it displays ugly "exception" dialog box.

Therefore I have changed FileSel not to list such drives if the disk is missing...

Will this effect network drives at all? I ask because on Windows, network disks are not usually available until you try to access them and it may prompt for username/password.

No, there is specific test for drive being removable.
