TheIDE help keyword search calls Firefox [message #20651]

I`ve met very strange issue while working in FreeBSD 7.1 (XFCE 4.4.2, TheIDE 902r183). Each time I type character inside TheIDE help` keyword search Edit control, default browser, Mozilla Firefox is called (ver. 2.0.0.20) trying to open some unknown page, which fails to load.

Hi,

I don't know what the initial intention was to include it, but you can uncomment call to LaunchWebBrowser in CtrlLib/Help.cpp function HelpWindow::GoTo.

It was reported once here but nobody did anything. May we have a bug report and feature request tracking software as some of the bugs and feature reported in forum get ignored because we get over these posts?

What I do is to scan forums, fix user's bugs, if the issue is U++, I usually fix it immediately.

For unresolved problems, there is special forum.

Anyway, I will check what googlecode (or sf.net) provides...

The problem is visible on KDE desktop because calling xdg-open with wrong argument will show a message box with the error. If you test on Ubuntu(Gnome) please launch theIDE from terminal and then see the errors while accessing Help from theIDE.
