Now I need to update my TreeCtrl... and WhenAction is triggered by delete chars... Do I need to derive all my editors now?
Why there is no WhenEnter for EditField? Or...?

You can handle it (using Key) in TreeCtrl or even your TopWindow derived dialog (keys propagate up, if unhandled).
