Hello,

Is there any functionality for this? Search files in packages and open?
I'm asking because i find this feature very usefull Visual assist, and i'm thinking to try an implementation.

Thanks,
Raxvan.

Not sure if I undrestand, but there is "Find in files" and you can doubleclick locations you have found... Or press F4.

Hello,

The purpose of search file is to quickly jump to the file you want to edit. When the projects get to big it is hard to click packages and look for the file you want to edit.

Find in files is good , but it doesn't work for this. Open File in solution is similar to "Navigate in File" but it searches for file names and when pressing enter will open the file for editing.

Raxvan.

Hello Mirek

I have the same opinion. A kind of "find text in solution" would be an improvement.

Best regards
Iñaki

Alt+Shift+F

I guess we should have it in the menu too, right?

Hey! It was there!

Perhaps the only thing to ask is to put a longer text. Now it is "Find file.." only Smile.
