Hello,

Persoannly, I think that Ultimate++ should parrticipate in events like Google Summer of Code. It is very important for further development of the library. First of all, we should create list of potential topics (I think that 5 polished topics should be enough). And one of the most important notice from LibreaOffice site: "New tasks should be added only by those with the experience and time to invest in mentoring new developers"

Example of ideas accepted by Google:
BRL-CAD ideas
KDE ideas <- Noticed by Google in GSOC Faq
LibreOffice ideas
Mozilla ideas

External resources:
GSOC 2014 - Official Site
GSOC 2014 - Calendar
GSOC 2014 - FAQ

Ultimate++ resources:
GSOC 2014 main page
GSOC 2014 ideas
GSOC 2014 mentors page

Ultimate++ resources(deprected):
GSOC forum topic

P.S.
I am ony student, so I can not organize this event by myself. It would be funny if I will be mentor to myself.

P.S. 2
It seems that each idea should have assigned mentor(s) with e-mail adress(es). Please look at KDE or LibreOffice ideas.

P.S 3
Have we got IRC channel?

Time remaining: 0 days. (Deadline: February 14 at 19:00 UTC 2014)
