Found the next one.
In SDLExample in Linux the include would normally be
#include <SDL/SDL.h>

It currently is
#include <SDL.h>

Just looked it up at the sdl website and from a tutorial link from there it appears that #include <SDL/SDL.h> is normal for windows and Linux.

Also the SDL library isn't being linked in, but I don't know how to add that in your system.
