Some strings are not translated, e.g.:

It is very simple. I do not have the experience of using Oracle. Therefore, I am afraid that I may mistake in the translation.

Mirek, I've try to translate my small test program to 6 language. I found some trouble with internationalization.
Tr file contain only system messages, and NOT contain any standards string, are needed to quick translation.

I suggest: Include to pseudo package I18n sample user program with standard element of interface, like "File" "Exit" "Options"
"Edit" "Cut" "Paste" "Help" "Search" "Replace" "Open" "Save"...
and so on.

Have a look at Topic example from reference(guess that is what you want, having a help with your application).

For a better example see how ide help is implemented.

I know all of this.

But I want to say about other things.

- I need to easy write Help index.

- I need to trite topic name in layout Editor (and, maybe, write text of topic)

- and so on.... (see to abilities of commercial Help Systems)

This question is missing on the forum.

I suggest to Create Forum Thread on this theme.

But t-file is synchronized from IDE .tr files.

Therefore I suggest to include in I18n package some of typically messages (or sample application with this messages),
that are present in any application - "File" "Exit" "Options" "Edit" "Cut" "Paste" "Help" "Search" "Replace" "Open" "Save"...

Nope, that is not correct. Normally, .t file us "synced" (updated) based on source files in the package.

.tr files are used to provide "wholesome" translations, like translating the whole U++, by 3rd party. Anyway, as developer, you are supposed to use .t to translate your application.

In user app you translate .t.

Well, to be more specific. To i18n your app, you start with adding t_() around strings (you can use F2 and Alt+F2 to speed-up this process if you have not done so while initial coding).

Then you add single .t file per package and somewhere ".t include".
Then activate "Synchronize translation files". This operation will go through sources and gather t_ strings into .t file. You can then add languages to .t - the result is adding empty definitions.

Yes, yes.... But when I start new little application, I wish to start from some basic translations, but not from empty .t file.

Because I suggest to include sample application to All-I18n.

If we did it, The IDE correctly synchronize .t from .tr.

Even texts that are already known (because they were in some other package) will get translated immediately. However, how do you expect the "non-empty" .t file to be created?!

(Note that "empty" means that non-english translations are empty.)

Also, *ANY* U++ application is able to export .tr file and automatically imports it at start.

I tried to see examples and documentation about the tr files, and saw a feature for uploading files tr. Tell me if any of IDE feature dynamic loading language files?

Wait a moment.

There are .t files and .tr files.

.tr files are "runtime exports/imports" (only recently we have added an Ide function to export .tr). Each U++ application (I mean, each U++ executable) can export and import .tr.

Anyway, compile-time translated, strings are stored in .t files in packages.

Sure. Just put .tr where executable is. That is all.

At startup, U++ checks whether there are any dynamic translations (.tr) and loads them automatically.

I think this is very good initiative to start making standalone help discussion. This is very important part of U++, and we should pay much attention to this problem. So I vote for Sergey's initiative - to start - make new subforum. Maybe even organize workgroup working on help/manual.
