I am wondering if there is a reason why EditField was choosen as the control instead of a 4-6 line DocEdit? Almost all of my commit messages are always over 1 line and cramming them into 1 line makes my commit messages pretty hard to read/understand.
When working with other open source projects as well, commit messages are typically more than one line.
I worked on changing this and I got it to be a DocEdit control rather easy, but the size was not correct. I could make the row height be that of 6 lines, but the control still appeared as 1 line high, even though it was indeed a DocEdit and I could add multiple lines in.
Is there some reason that it shouldn't be a DocEdit?
Thanks,
Jeremy
