Hello,

I use UPP on Debian Squeeze 64bit.
Recently I upgrade to UPP (4193) 64bit from UPP (3211) 64bit.
All my projects are working fine except one, which is compiling OK and creating an executable file, but when I execute it, it displays an error

The program '<unknown>' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'RenderBadPicture (invalid Picture parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 123 error_code 176 request_code 155 minor_code 7)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

I tried to find the problem, with no success. Its working great in 3211 but gives this error in 4193. I wanted to know whether this bug is in uppsrc code or I have made some stupid mistake.

Hi navinv,

Are you using GridCtrl package in your project? If yes, this error might be the same as I was getting a while ago, see this thread for details. It was solved in version 4454, so you might need to upgrade or backport the changes (it is just two lines, described in the linked thread).

Thank you very much. The solution worked like a charm.
That was a relief, knowing that I didn't made any mistakes and my code is OK.
