After a year of maturing I have today committed change that made GTK backend default for POSIX.

If you want to compile with X11 backend, you now need to add X11 flag to your main config...

Could you please make it possible to automatically use X11 in case NOGTK flag is present? Right now it doesn't make much sense: if you use NOGTK flag, you get errors about missing GTK libs Smile
