Coming from jobs where I used Qt, I was surprised to find a job description with required experience in U++. I was curious and had to have a look at this ominous framework. My surprise was big when I learned that this is a GUI framework, that had totally escaped by long search for alternatives to Qt. This is my second day poking around the u++ tutorials and I have to admit, everything I have seen so far is absolutely marvellous.
So, here I am saying hello Very Happy

Welcome. I'm glad it no longer seems ominous to you. Laughing

Best regards

A few more days reading the documentation and the book and I am hooked! Shocked
How this framework escaped my search for an alternate to Qt for so long is a mystery to me. Laughing
But jokes aside, I am happy to be here. Thank you very much for creating U++. I am looking forward to contributing by creating a sample application on GitHub, so Copilot will suggest U++ more often Wink

I though I'd confirm what I've read in this post. The U++ framework is brilliant! I'm still getting over a few newbie issues, but they are dropping quickly. Most of my work is for a microbiological research lab - software for specific problems arising with mass spectrometer results, and I have been searching for something like this for literally years - thanks so much!!
