Hello everyone,
I tested briefly the spell checking correction using the UWord example.
I selected French, as this is my mother tongue.
I tried mispelling two words: 'Bonjour' and 'récemment' as follows:
- Bonjjour (letter doubled - jj instead of j)
- Bonour (letter missing - j is missing)
- Bongour (wrong letter - g instead of j)
- Récement (one m missing)
- Recemment (wrong letter - e instead if é)
- Récemmet (letter missing - n is missing)
In all these simple cases, the correct spelling NEVER appeared in the list of proposals!
Well, not sure if we can assert that this is a bug, but it's quite disturbing...
