Hi all

The paper "Boundary element methods in action: A performance assessment for ocean engineering applications" has just been published in Ocean Engineering journal.
https:// www.linkedin.com/posts/i%C3%B1aki-zabala-8982b095_boundary-e lement-methods-in-action-a-performance-activity-738862842262 2625792-srHN?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop& amp;rcm=ACoAABQnp_QBoEbF3s4X5LzxXt5fNwrY0dc1RZ0.

This work presents a large-scale benchmark and comprehensive comparison of BEM solvers -- essential tools in hydrodynamic modelling of floating devices -- (ships, offshore wind platforms, wave energy converters, ...)

All the massive preprocessing and postprocessing has been done using U++. Of course this could be done in python... using 50 times more computing power for the same job Laughing

Thank you Mirek and all for the great job.

Best regards
Iñaki
