I have some experiences working with a few other IDEs: Visual Studio, Eclipse, Netbeans, Delphi, etc.

Usually, I'll set directory as the IDE workspace, something like "/home/anta40/JavaProjects". That means there is each subfolder for each Java projects, like "/home/anta40/JavaProjects/SQLDemo", "/home/anta40/JavaProjects/SwingTest", "/home/anta40/JavaProjects/Groovy01", etc etc.

You open the IDE (which already know the default workspace). Then create a project (console/GUI/web/etc) and the IDE will automatically create the project directory for you.

This is what you see after firing TheIDE. Now how to it? Say I want the workspace at "/home/anta40/UPPProjects", and then create a console up on it?

Hi Anta40

You can create and locate your assembly anywhere, and create your projects inside it.
