For those of you using Gentoo and other portage based distributions, I have just released the first experimental upp-portage ebuild onto sourceforge.
With the latest upp-2007.1_rc3 release the ebuild it will build and install the binary and data into /usr/bin and /usr/share/upp respectively. Previous ebuilds built and installed in /opt/upp/bin and /opt/upp/share/upp respectively. The makefiles have also been patched to use pkg-config.
