I still can't figure out why it could not compile.

Anyhow by commenting it out, ide (607-dev2) could be compiled successfully on Ubuntu(Edgy) though some more changes of your codes have to be made as well.
1)/Draw/DrawX11.cpp
UpdateSColors() have to be commented out
2)add the following lines to CtrlLib/LabelBase.cpp

#define IMAGECLASS CtrlsImg
#define IMAGEFILE <CtrlLib/Ctrls.iml>
#include <Draw/iml_source.h>
