Cannot link with obj generated on custom build step. [message #59537]

I am trying to assemble and link with a .asm file for a 64 bit application. Using MSVS19x64.bm as the build configuration.

index.php?t=getfile&id=6762&private=0

I got custom build to assemble the files into an obj.

"$(OUTDIR)/$(TITLE).obj"

However is not linking the resulting objects into the solution.

What am I missing?

Also, the custom build step is being run again, even if the created object already exist.
