Is there a way to turn on BLITZ in this version?
I'm trying it with MSC8 and MINGW, but without success.

Hm Smile

If BLITZ started to work for you, which I believe is the case (plese report), then this is really quite funny bug Smile

(I have simplified BLITZ heurestics to the one hour rule. Anyway, U++ installator does not change uppsrc timestamps, so for the first hour no BLITZ for you Smile

OK, it is working well on second compilation. The problem was, that I switched back to an older version after the first trial.

BTW, do you have some idea about the randomly opened files in editor, when starting a debug session?

I can't find my old post, but somewhere I reported that the standard skin for and edit field was not correct under vista, and after it was fixed. But it seems that not all the edit fields where updated with the fix. Some still display the XP gray border, and some display the Vista blueish slightly rounded border.

Maybe those that do not are not edit fields Smile

Where I can see one?

Yes, you are right! Smile. Things like DocEdit and LineEdit have plain border, and EditField, EditXXX have chameleonized border.

I see.

Well, IMO, DocEdit and LineEdit cannot have rounded borders, because they have scrollbar... I suspect it might not look well.

Anyway, have to check Vista, I might be wrong Wink

I just noticed that the MINGW debuger is extremelly stupid and often not able to show me basic values in the Autos tab, and in the Watch nothing is displayed for those values. Could this be a new problem, or is the debuger (and has been) quite limited.

VS debuger works well though. But the annoying bug with semi-random files beeing open in TheIDE after run is back (not sure if it ever went away).

I confirm. Cf. my message #13142 "Ultimate++ TheIDE » U++ TheIDE: Compiling, Linking, Debugging of your packages » Debugging doesn't work with 711-dev2, win32, and mingw".

Above problem is fixed.

As for GDB, yes, it is a pity. It looks like the only fine solution is to avoid GDB and debug "directly"... which is not a trivial thing to do (but, after all, what is Smile
