Help! how to compiling ide source files from upp-2007.1.tar.gz in Linux?

Do you already have a running ide?

If not I suggest you try to install either .deb or .rpm packages available on SF.

Otherwise you have to create assembly mappings for upp-2007.1. For that you can copy your current *.var files and modify the contents to match upp-2007.1 paths.
Then you will see additional assemblies inside package selector to choose from.
