Well, I stumbled on it 4 days ago too, seemed promising to me too, but it's *not* open source...

EDIT: ... and, looking at the price (there's not a free version anymore), 145$ for an one-year license seems a bit much indeed.

We are using TotalView Debugger (http://www.totalviewtech.com/productsTV.htm). It is working perfectly except of some issues with debugging inline functions.

And it is pricey too.

Well, I am now using the Zero beta-version, which is free, for some more time, so I can comment more:

IME, it is not perfect, but sometimes it can be very useful! It filled an important tool-gap for me Smile

Good news: "zero bugs" went open source (Boost license) http://www.zerobugs.org/

Bad news: I wasn't able to compile it in Ubuntu 10.04.
