Hello All,

After installing ubuntu 11.04 the applications compiled with U++ does not show the TrayIcon.

I will try to debug this issue.

Any ideas are welcome!

Well, I find Unity one of the crappiest stuffs that could be invented.
A suggestion, for whom hasn't done the "upgrade" : DON'T DO IT !
Or, at least, do a full hdd backup, you'll thank me later Smile

I don't think so. The idea is very interesting. And seems to be fast and without many bugs.
All old applications work very well.

Yep, if you don't mind to use 6-7 mouse clicks when former just a couple were enough, and also if you don't mind to have to use keyboard or some 4-5 clicks just to switch windows.....
I think unity is perfect for a browser-mail-facebook usage, but
absolutely not for productivity.

It's problem not of Ultimate++.
It's problem of Unity:
Unity disable third-party program tray icons.
You must include your program in UNITY's white list.
You can find "howto" in google by request "UNITY TRAY"

I resolved the issue by typing in terminal:
gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['all']"

re login and all apps work fine!
