Can someone tell me if it is possible to get a whole sqlite database encrypted with aes? (not just the content of single db entries, i mean the db itself)

En/Decryption with AES works for single Strings..

No, it is not possible. Storage mechanism is hardcoded into sqlite sources.

Hello Wolfgang

The solution I use is to encode/decode either all the .db file or every field, converting all data to/from String.

Best regards

I guess it can be done by implementing a VFS - see https://sqlite.org/vfs.html
