I have refactored two facilities that made starting theide somewhat slow:
- main package selection - it now uses improved algorithm with more heavy caching and some more heuristics; possible issue is that it can misidentify some folders as packages (but remove them later) anyway this would only be a display problem for short time
- synchronizing Topic++ after package is selected now runs in background. Possible problem is that documentation popups can be missing for a couple of seconds after theide start and that keyword search in help might not work for the same duration
There is a problem with this new startup on linux when assembly directory is located on a disk that is not mounted when theide is starting. Package list is empty (this is ok), but even if I mount the disk and restart theide, package list is not populated.
I have to remove all cache files from ~/.upp/theide/cfg to fix this problem.

This reminds me that "other" problem fixed. Do you have the latest svn?
