All my u++ apps worked on Ubuntu 12.04 64bit until a click-able update.
I did see some wine stuff scrolling by.
I removed and installed wine.
Still the same problem, running from a .bash gets this:
Quote:

p11-kit: couldn't load module: /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/pkcs11/gnome-keyring-pkcs11.so:
/usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/pkcs11/gnome-keyring-pkcs11.so: cannot open shared object file:
No such file or directory
Missing font Times New Roman

Here is a small u++ app but the error is the same for all.
http://www.nlneilson.com/wwposts/DGPSmerge.exe

The apps still work on 12.04 32bit and Win 32 and 64 bit.
They were built on Win with the MS compilers.

Obviously for some reason, you are now missing Time New Roman font... (or it is not available for wine). It has little to do with U++...

I just thought someone here may have run into this problem.

It is a problem with Ubuntu 64bit 11.10 to 12.10
There are two bugs filed on it.

One suggestion was to install the wine ppa and wine 1.5
Still not working.
With a google search there are other suggestion I have not tried yet.

This will uninstall wine 1.4 if installed and install the ppa and wine 1.5

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-wine/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine1.5
sudo apt-get install winetricks

"if you just want fonts then in synaptic or software centre and search for ttf mscorefonts"

Getting the ttf mscorefonts may work with wine 1.4

That worked. Now I can run the U++ apps in Ububtu 64bit

After a little more checking it seems Ubuntu 64bit 11.10 and later which installs libreoffice that does not have the M$ Times New Roman font.

The ttf mscorefonts need to be installed separately.
