As you can see, we are now running fudforum 3.0.5.

Please check your personal account settings, there were many problems in migration there. If you plan to post patches for U++ eventually, you can also use this opportunity to fill in your real name Smile (this is now a requirement).

Please report any problems here, via PM or email.

Hello Mirek,

It seems that tree view is still present for unloged user and me too. In my opinion tree view for answers is totally unreadable for common users.

BTW, Will this forum be integrated with Ultimate++ website like previous.

TreeView issue:
index.php?t=getfile&id=4492&private=0

Sincerely,
Klugier

Is it present, or set by default? (I hoped I fixed the later).

Hello Mirek,

It doesn't work either. Moreover it destroyed topic list (Now it works in TreeView mode).

Screen:
index.php?t=getfile&id=4493&private=0

I have got one more question. Are you sure that this update will protect Ultimate++ community against bots? I see a lot of new accounts that dosen't look like regular Ultimate++ users.

Sincerely,
Klugier

The initial changes were hard to get used to but is getting better.

The lit and unlit bulbs and red and blue books are easy to distinguish.

With your previous bumpy circle it was difficult to distinguish between the colored and grayed in some lighting conditions.
If you are going to switch back to the colored bumpy circle for new posts consider just a circle but not grayed (just a bumpy circle with none of the lines inside the periphery.

If a final decision has not been made consider having a vote before "upload right images and icons".

Forum visuals are not finished yet. I think there are bigger issues to fix now.

Anyway, the target should be about the same as it was before. Only technically, this time I would rather like to use <iframe> to embed forum and minimize forum theming.

I will remember to tone down those gray icons.

Moderating/admin rights were unfortunately removed during migration, I will be restoring them gradually and/or on demand. I hope you are forum admin now, Koldo, just as before (please check).

Thanks Mirek

Maybe even have an option where the threads with no new posts would be blank, no image.

I am sorry, there are still issues with default account settings (e.g. that ugly tree view). I am still experimenting with setting account flags, so please keep rechecking and informing me...

The tree view was a pain but a great job has been done on the update.

Hello Mirek

Now it is possible to delete spammers.

However there is a lot of spam. Could you check the new user filtering system?

Thank you for your effort Smile

Best regards
Iñaki

I am not quite sure what you mean by the spam.

The primary antispam feature of the new forum is that first message gets always moderated. So spammers get registred, but are unable to post.

It is also possible to disable posting links until first N messages are approved.

I do not see any tree view. Perhaps it has been fixed. Very good job!
