Well, what do you know!
Adding SetDefaultCharset(CHARSET_WIN1251); as the first thing in GUI_APP_MAIN helped! Very Happy

Thanks a lot, I guess it's better to understand how the whole thing works if you plan using it seriously, but this workaround is just fine for my first experiments, I guess Rolling Eyes
