Hello,

I created two internal articles. First presenting how you can learn c/c++ with TheIDE. The second described current platform status of U++ libraries. Comments welcome!

Sincerely,

One little remark:

It's difficult to read (not only this articles)

May be increase size between lines?

(I see, that question must redirect to Koldo)

Hello Sergey,

At the beggining i would like to thank you for your answer. I think we should firstly implement exporting line height to html to make your proposition possible with rich-text:

// CSS - pseudo code (Should be much readable)
A. { line-height:150%;}

I think I will implement this feature in near future. I uploaded file presenting 150% line height for new article. You can check and post your opinion. The height was changed manually.

Sincerely,
Klugier

Hello Sergey,

We have by default 1.0 for all pages. The change will require the set style for all pages. Currently we haven't got something like global styles. Each pages is generated through QTF.

Sincerely,
Klugier

Hello,

Mirek accepted patch (rewrite mine Smile). Now it is possible to export line-height parameter from qtf to HTML. The result of this should be seen in this two articles tomorrow.

Sincerely,
Klugier

This seems like a very good idea for learning and the extra help data.
There should be data available to help resolve issues/problems. The help data available for download is limited. This forum is good for help also, if it was not for the help on the forum many new users would just drop out from using upp, myself included.

Hello Nlneilson,

You are right, I think our documentation is small compared to the things that the whole U++ offers. So, I thought it would be nice to extends in several areas like supported platforms, U++ architecture etc.

We are aware that our documentation is not perfect - maybe it is good time to ask community what is the biggest missing feature there.

Sincerely,
Klugier

Before U++, I'm active use SoftVelocity Clarion (early named Topspeed Clarion).

This product was perfectly documented.

It's have division HOW TO DO ... (...make report, ...make window application, ...make hot key for window, ...test for profiling ... e.t.c.)

I upload help for 4 version (now 10-version in production).
