I really like the design philosophy of U++, so I think I'll give it a try.

However, one of the things I'd like to do is use other applications, like graphing applications, inside a window in my own program. I hate writing my own plotting routines from primitives every time I change programming environments; it would be nice to take advantage of the immense amount of work others have done.

So, what are my options? I don't want to get into specific programs, I just want to know what is the best possible situation for getting some other code to write a bitmap to some area in my U++ main window. There are many open source C++ applications.
