Hi-

I'm wondering about these mixed environments. Not sure about MinGW. If the code is copied from the tutorial, maybe I did something to the environment.

I will run some commands to see how much space I have in linux with VBox. If I have the space, I will work on getting linux ready tonight.

I will report back to let you know how I made out in linux. I'd like to report better results in anything even though I had hoped for using windows tools.

thx.- mtdew3q

Hi-

I got the postgresql db tutorial up and working.

I got some rest and then while doing laundry I fired up this code on virtualbox.

Linux is easier than MinGW!

have a cool night,
thx. - mtdew3q

Hi-

Hooray... I just got MinGW to work with postgresql tutorial.

One thing that I found is that the combobox that says whether it is 32 or 64 ming will reset itself without asking permission.

You have to have it set right in build methods AND the combo box.

Well, anyway... Now I know minGW can do postgreSQL. I will switch to firebird next to check that out in MinGW.

thx. -
