Hi there. Upp compiled cleanly on NetBSD but fails at the linking stage since it's looking for -ldl and there is no such thing on NetBSD. Please fix it. Thank you Very Happy

NetBSD is a though nut to crack. I mean, to even get started, I would need some desktop environment installed, but it looks crazy complicated, several conflicting outdated guides exist, editing a tons of config files manually, I hate this...

Anybody here with desktop NetBSD virtual box image available? If not, I am afraid will move on to some more interesting work....

I don't have a VirtualBox image, but I have a post-installation assistant that can greatly help you setup a work environment with a GUI.
Go to http : // defert.com / postin /, select "NetBSD 9.1", click Next, select "Development workstation", click Next and follow the instructions.
