Best way to chat between two pc [message #56248]

Hello,

I wonder if we have some code example that permits two pcs online to make a connection and then begin a text chat.
I remember to have seen something useful on ours forum many years ago but I was not able to find it.

I am afraid this is not exactly possible without some 3rd PC server sitting on real IP because of NAT... So that rules out writing something simple like sending UDP datagrams.

But I might be wrong.

I guess it should be best done using some existing infrastructure.
