Hi,
I wonder if it would be a lot of work to add wider compression method support in plugin/tif using the already existing plugins for zstd and lzma:
COMPRESSION_ZSTD
COMPRESSION_LZMA
Maybe also plugins for JP2000 and WEBP and their corresponding compression modes in plugin/tif:
COMPRESSION_JP2000
COMPRESSION_WEBP
libtiff already supports all of these methods, but I do not know how to bind the existing plugins nor how to add new plugins to activate the support.
