Hi,

how is the XIM support progressing?

Well, in case you are still struggling with it, maybe this

is worth a look.

"""Uim is a multilingual input method library, whose goal is to be a flexible development platform and useful user environment for input methods of all languages.

uim works in many environments, including of course general desktop systems such as GNOME or KDE. It also supports Linux Zaurus, Mac OS X."""

It's BSD licensed. In case the library coding style doesn't fit upp, source could still be used for reference.
Looks like it could help the Mac OS X porting effort also.

Well, I believe that it works now Wink

At least it does work for czech language. Maybe somebody interested could try CJK. (BTW, another feature for flawless support of CS-CZ is glyph composition - that one also seems to work now).

(Reminds me we should add RTL support somewhere down on the road...)
