In TheIDE file tabs, it would be possible to set crosses by adding this line:
tabs.StyleDefault().Write().DefaultCrosses();

Actual and proposed tabs:

index.php?t=getfile&id=5506&private=0

Best regards
Iñaki

This happens only in Windows. In Linux the arrow is shown.

Best regards

This problem happens both in Windows 7 and 10.

Talking about look, maybe this cross inside a red square has a Windows 7 look.
Probably for Windows 10 the look would have to be more "flat" and white.

Hello,

This is working as designed. Each platform has got its own close button. For linux the crosses are default, but for Windows the boxes are default. I do not see any reasons to change that.

I use Windows 10 and it looks fine for me.

Sincerely,
Klugier

Hi Klugier

If the discussion is about an opinion, I do not have anything to contribute.
However if it is about the normal look and feel in an environment, I can bring some examples Smile Smile.

Both Windows 7 and 10 use crosses:
- In W7 they tend to be smaller and inside a red square
- In W10 they tend to be bigger, and without any box

index.php?t=getfile&id=5523&private=0

Best regards
Iñaki

It works as designed, but I think we should change it to usual Win10 look everywhere.

That will not look out of place on any platform.
