I am trying to get an icon for my application to appear on the .exe file within Windows explorer. I have gotten an icon to work perfectly while I am in the program, but I don't get the icon to appear on my .exe file. How would I do this?

With .rc and .ico files.

Look at 'ide' package, look what is in .rc. Then look in IconDes and push properties to see how to define .ico exports.

NOTE: .ico exports does not work (yet) in B605.dev release...
