I installed U++ on Mageia Linux 7.1. When I attempted to make a test 'hello world' package (Ctrl+F5) / (Debug > Execute) I received the following error:

. . .
ChWin32.cpp
clang-8: error: no such file or directory: '/home/ernie/upp/.cache/upp.out/MyApps/CtrlLib/CLANG.Debug.D ebug_Full.Gui.Shared/CtrlLib$blitz.cpp'
clang-8: error: no input files
error: unable to open output file '/home/ernie/upp/.cache/upp.out/MyApps/CtrlLib/CLANG.Debug.D ebug_Full.Gui.Shared/CtrlLibInit.o': 'No such file or directory
'
1 error generated.
error: unable to open output file '/home/ernie/upp/.cache/upp.out/MyApps/CtrlLib/CLANG.Debug.D ebug_Full.Gui.Shared/ChWin32.o': 'No such file or directory'
1 error generated.
CtrlLib: 58 file(s) built in (0:00.77), 13 msecs / file

There were errors. (0:00.77)

theIDE runs O.K., but if I cannot build on Linux, the IDE is not much use to me. Any help will me very much appreciated.

Hello and welcome on our forum Smile,

Could you post your screenshot from the first view (main package selection):
index.php?t=getfile&id=6210&private=0

Thanks for posting this issue. Seems that we need some kind of protection when uppsrc is not fully configured.

U++ - one framework to rule them all.
