I'm trying to compile umk & theide using Makefile on Mac using regular make and bundled makefiles via
make -f umkMakefile

In case of umk I'm getting a linker command line option error.
In case of theide I'm getting error messages related to missing XServer libraries ..

Basically, this means that I'm unable to compile U++ for MacOS 11.

Novo

The Makefile is obviously for Linux...

I think umk variant should work after a bit of tinkering.

I have spent a while with it and I believe umk should now build out of box in MacOS. Run ./configure first...

Thanks a lot!
It works now.
