They have finalize() method but there is no control over it. It is called when gc thinks it is time to call it.

Anyway, why Java? With u++ c++ is easy to use..

you are absolutelly right; this is because of work; employer wants developing in Java. In upp is developing nice but in java... you know. I don't think about that too seriously(for now), but I like that idea, researching through upp sources and thinking how to produce java like code etc etc....

anyway, do you think, if it is worthy such a 'thing' ???

Hm, to my surprise, Tom (as he has to maintain some Java applets) has something like Java/miniU++ - a collection of Java classes loosely resembling U++.

Here it comes...
