I want to use the TerminalCtrl which points me to UppHub[https://www.ultimatepp.org/app$ide$UppHub_en-us.html] which is just a bunch of screenshots!?!?!?

How do I access/use/get/browse the packages (not just TerminalCtrl)?

thx

Hello slashupp,

UppHub is available under TheIDE >= 2021.1 (stable)

1) In theIDE's main package selection screen, youl'ss see upphub button next to the new package button.

2) Also under TheIDE's Setup menu, you can see the UppHub menu entry. When you select it, a list of available (exta) packages should show up.

Best regards,
Oblivion

thx, when I update my version of upp I always use the latest svn version
which in this case (16135) does not compile Sad
hope its gets fixed soon

currently using 15561, for which the option for upphub is in setup but just
pops up an empty arrayctrl? and some buttons that does nothing

Hello Slash,

We are no longer using SVN. The latest svn version from official server is 16039. Right now we fully moved to git development via GitHub. So, in order to obtain the latest sources you need to clone repository.

In order to update your upp I encourage you to download latest nightly build and then you could alter your uppsrc to point to git version. After that you could update your TheIDE by using these sources via "Setup" -> "Upgrade TheIDE..." command.

Hi Klugier

I downloaded from https://www.ultimatepp.org/www$uppweb$download$en-us.html
I called it 'svn' because that is what UPP-homepage calls it.

So I should have called it 'latest nightly build' that does not compile

I dont want the whole upp dev-setup, just need to setup a upp-dev for linux,
thats why the tarballs are very handy (someone messed with the install scripts
and makes changes to my ~/.local/applications by adding .desktops and adds stuff
to ~/.cache - but I can fix that)
