Hi, mirek,
I find a typo in the install file. In Manjaro (Arch linux), the pkg-config is named as "pkgconf" not "pkgconfig". We had better correct it.
Thanks for your job!

Hello renyiyuan

Are you sure? I have manjaro and I have both pkg-config and pkconf:
klugier@X470Pro:~ $ pkg-config
Please specify at least one package name on the command line.
klugier@X470Pro:~ $ pkgconf
Please specify at least one package name on the command line.
klugier@X470Pro:~ $ uname -a
Linux X470Pro 5.17.1-3-MANJARO #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Mar 31 12:27:24 UTC 2022 x86_64 GNU/Linux
klugier@X470Pro:~ $

If you look at pkgconf (1.8.0-1) package it brings both pkg-config and pkgconf. OK, I see our makefile in manjaro points to pkgconfig instead of pkgconf. Does the same is true for Arch Linux? Could you verify?
-------------
UPDATE #1:
Edit for Arch it is the same - source.
-------------
UPDATE #2:
I created PR to adress this issue - https://github.com/ultimatepp/ultimatepp/pull/72. Also, I added git dependency that was in the end not present in 2022.2. UppHub requires git.

Sorry, I did not clarify it clearly.
I tried to install the dependencies manually according to the install file. The pkg-config package in the manjaro repository is named as "pkgconf" but there are several other packages including "pkgconfig" in their names. I think its a typo and may cause failture. The pkgconf package provides two bin files: pkg-config and pkgconf, pkg-config is just a symbol link to the new pkgconf.

Is manjaro fixed now?

There seems to be some important issues fixed since the release (while I am doing development in the branch), I am considering 2022.1a...
