Hello all,

I am developing an application using Ultimate++ on a Raspberry Pi 5 module with a touchscreen interface.

I’m facing an issue with touch interaction and window focus. When controls (like buttons) are placed on the main window, touch input works correctly. However, when I open another window (popup/dialog), the touch focus does not automatically shift to the newly opened window.

As a result, I must first tap on the popup window to bring it into focus, and only then do the controls inside it respond to touch. With a physical mouse, the focus shifts automatically when the popup appears as the mouse in moved to the popup, but this behavior is not happening with touch input.

Is there a way to ensure that the popup window automatically receives focus when it is opened, so that touch interactions work immediately without requiring an initial tap?

Regards,
Nikitha
