Hi. I have just installed TheIde on Ubuntu 7.10. The problem is that the templates are missing. When i try to make a new project, based on templates, there is no template. I'm using 2007.1 version of ide (installed from *.deb pack found on sf.net). Are the templates missing in that version of ide on Linux or is it a local problem of mine? Should i use the new version(712-dev1)?

you have two options:

a) get missing upt files from here: http://www.ultimatepp.org/forum/index.php?t=msg&goto=935 9&#msg_9359

or
b) you can just take them from svn, maybe along with the new upp source. At this point you can even compile the latest theide version.

Look at this thread:

Ciao,
David
