Hi,

I have developed a software package using Ultimate++ and I'm about to release it (a binary package) under a commercial license. However, I am not a lawyer, so I think it's best to ask you directly how do I correctly acknowledge Ultimate++?

Do I have to print the entire Ultimate++ license or is it enough to write:

"The ... software package uses Ultimate++ libraries."

No, you do not need to quote the license. It is ok just to say "Developed using U++" or something like that. Placing link to U++ website would be nice (if possible).

Anyway, if you are using some plugin/* packages, you should also check license requirements in them. All of them (well, with some exceptions that are not used in developed software) are BSD compatible, but that means you should mention their authors somewhere too.
