hello

i want to read a text that is generated from php script on a web site and save it in sqlite3 database then view it

i downloaded the file to string variable by using httpclient

then saved it .......but when i try to view it Arabic characters are viewed like Boxes

thx in advance

i want to know the steps to solve this problem and what are the encodings that ultimate++ can read

Did I understand correctly that you try to open this file in TheIDE?
TheIDE supports large number of encodings. After you opened the file, you may right-click it`s name in the left frame. Then you should select "File properties..." in the popup appeared. This should open "File properties" dialog window. After that select appropriate encoding in "Encoding" drop list and press "OK". This should force TheIDE to view your file in appropriate encoding.

thx for your reply but this is not the problem

any way the problem was solved ..... i found a script that changed the output of my php script to utf-8 and the problem was solved
