hi all.

I just downloaded u++, I have never programmed using a gui before and after trying and not liking c++ builder or VC++ I decided on this.

As a complete noob as to how an application with a window layout works expect lots of posts from me.

Firstly I would like to know howto cover my main form with an image drawn in paint, kind of a background picture for the gui.

I would also like to know how to move insert or delete an image from the main form by clicking a button.

Many thanks in advance for the help.

Hey goldenboy,

Did you try to compile the provided examples ? Normally this is the best point to start of and learn how the code works and adopt it then to your needs.

If you understand the basics you can start to read the documentation and ask for particular things that are not covered there.

In case you even don't do some progress I can try to provide you some sample code for your needs when you send me exactly what you are expecting.

Good Luck Smile
